Greg Helbling – Owner/Broker
Greg has served as an all-lines Insurance
Agent, Broker, and Insurance Consultant in
Idaho for 25 years including nine years as
District Manager for Blue Cross. He began
his insurance career with five years in an
independent agency in Lewiston, Idaho, after
serving as an educator in Colorado and
corporate training in the Seattle area.
He has managed employee benefits for over 25
Idaho schools and colleges, in addition to
many hospitals, cities, counties and private
employers of all sizes throughout northern
and southern Idaho.
Greg is trusted in the industry for his
comprehensive understanding of employee
benefits for private and public employers of
all sizes, enjoying a unique art for
blending local and national resources with
innovation to create cost savings by
incorporating network intelligence, wellness
strategies, customer education and caring
service. As a lifetime learner and graduate
of the University of Idaho, his years of
experience have developed his skills for
listening to the needs of customers,
insurance committees, unions, CEOs, CFOs and
HR Directors.
As a community leader, Greg has been honored
as the 2007 Boss of the Year, Coeur d’Alene
Rotary Club President, Life Underwriters
President, Co-Founder of Holy Family School,
Salvation Army Kroc Center Advisory Board
member, Kootenai Health Taskforce Committee
member, Chamber of Commerce Board, National
Association of Health Underwriters member
and serves on various insurance carrier
advisory boards.
Greg enjoys community involvement, skiing,
mountain and road biking, snowshoeing, and
keeping up with his wife Kathy and their
teen sons Brett and Brandon.

Chad Murray – Partner/Broker
Chad is an Idaho native and graduate of the
University of Idaho with a degree in Management
Information Systems. Chad has seven years of
insurance agency management experience with Safeco
Insurance of Seattle, Washington. At Helbling
Employee Benefits, Chad specializes in bringing our
clients the most comprehensive employee benefit
package available. Chad also has extensive training
in long-term and short-term disability, earning his
National Health Underwriters Group Benefits
Disability Specialist Designation in April, 2008.
Active in the community, Chad is a 2007 Leadership
Coeur d’Alene graduate, Sunrise Rotarian, City of
Coeur d’Alene Bike and Pedestrian Committee member
and member of the North Idaho Association of Health
Underwriters.
Chad enjoys community involvement, biking, skiing,
the outdoors, and spending time with his wife
Colette and children Katelyn and Ben.

Nellie Armstrong – Account Manager/Benefits Specialist
Nellie comes to Helbling Employee Benefits with
several years experience in medical office
administration and has the proven skills and
dedication we count on to ensure consistently great
service for you, our valued customer. Her area of
expertise includes servicing hospitals,
municipalities, and medical clinics.
Nellie volunteers at events for the Post Falls
Chamber of Commerce. She is also continuing her
education in the insurance/benefits industry.
She enjoys camping, cooking, outdoor activities, and
spending time with her family.

Beth Edwards – Agent/Benefits Specialist
Beth joined Helbling Employee
Benefits with ten years of claims and benefits
experience most recently with the Group Health
Cooperative of Spokane, Washington. As a customer
relations professional, Beth is prepared to respond
to your inquires for benefit orientation, education,
service complaints, policy interpretation, and
facilitation of problem resolution.
Beth is currently attending the 2009-2010 River City
Leadership Academy and is a member of the North
Idaho Association of Health Underwriters.
She enjoys boating, snow skiing, and traveling with
her daughter and friends of the ASA Fast Pitch
Association.

Jacque Haler – Agent/Benefits Specialist
Jacque’s involvement in her family’s business
from a young age was foundational to her excellent
skills in servicing both small and large group accounts, including North Idaho
schools and a local college.
Jacque volunteers each year for the Ride-the-Wall
benefit for Habitat for Humanity in the Silver
Valley. She is also a member of the North
Idaho Association of Health Underwriters.
Jacque enjoys cooking and baking, and, most
recently, she and her husband are enjoying becoming
new parents!

Judy Bruner - Individual/Medicare Account
Specialist
Judy joins Helbling Benefits after retiring from
Kootenai Health where she spent 17 years in
the Human Resources Department. Previous work
experience included nine years at Kootenai School
District and ten years with the Kootenai County
District Court. Her hospital career began in payroll
with the last 15 years as Employee Benefits
Coordinator. Her experience involved a variety of
benefit areas including: health, dental, vision, and
life insurance; FMLA, COBRA, HRA and FSA savings
plans; employee investments and retirement planning.
The highlight of her diversity of careers has been
to participate in employee benefit problem solving.
Judy frequently volunteers in reading
programs at the elementary level and assists
with the Kootenai Health Christmas Bazaar.
Judy enjoys reading, walking, cooking and
spending time with her family.

Lynne Kinson – Wellness Coordinator
Lynne is a two-time University
of Idaho graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in
Education and a Master’s in Sport Science Exercise
Physiology. She comes to Helbling Benefits with
extensive background in wellness, disease
management, marketing, and sales. Lynne will
coordinate wellness plans specifically for our
clients’ needs. Lynne is familiar with partnering
with employees as she worked for the Boeing Company
in their Corporate Health and Fitness Department.
She was also the Exercise Physiologist for the
Cardiac Rehab, Diabetes Education, Osteoporosis, and
Weight Management Programs at Gritman Medical
Center. Lynne has worked in Cardiovascular Disease
Management, with vast experience in patient
education.
Lynne's passion is helping
people live a healthier life through exercise, good
nutrition, and disease prevention. She has coached
basketball for nearly a decade and is an NIC
Basketball Host Mom. She enjoys camping, hiking,
gardening, exercising, and spending time with her
family.

Tara Little – Office Manager/Executive
Assistant
Tara comes to Helbling Benefits
with more than 20 years office management
experience, specializing in finance and operations.
Tara received her Associates of Science degree in
Business Administration from Longview College. As
Greg Helbling's personal assistant, Tara provides
office leadership and organizational management to
the firm, including day-to-day operations. In
addition to being a great organizer, Tara thrives on
helping others.
Tara is community-minded and volunteers at various
events throughout Coeur d'Alene.
She enjoys boating on Lake Coeur d’Alene with her
husband and children, playing tennis, biking and
golfing.

Natalie Porter – Receptionist/Office Assistant
Natalie is, most likely, the
first person you will reach when you call our
office. With over ten years of experience in the
hospitality industry, Natalie understands the
importance of friendly, courteous and exceptional
customer service. You can rely on her delightful and
caring personality when calling or visiting our
office. Natalie also provides administrative
assistance to other members of the Helbling team.
Natalie enjoys the great outdoors, cooking, reading,
swimming, and spending time with her husband and two
children.

Carla Redline – Bookkeeper
Carla comes to Helbling with over 27 years of
experience in public accounting,
the forest products industry and non-for-profits.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting
from the University of Idaho. Carla has been
involved with Holy Family Catholic School since its
inception. She is also a board member and treasurer
for Birthright of Coeur d'Alene.
She enjoys camping,
gardening, cooking, reading and spending
time with her husband, Dan, and their
children, Libby, Charlie, Jackson and Sam.
